K-EVO had the opportunity to meet the Portuguese Prime Minister Dr. Antonio Costa during his visit to the Secondary School of Santa Maria Maior, Viana do Castelo. The Prime Minister attended an exhibition on Innovation in Vocational Education and spoke about the protocol for the creation of Science Clubs in the Schools. The initiative aims to create a national network of Science Living spaces in schools and infrastructures that, according to information released by the Ministry of Education, will bring "more science to schools, more scientists to classrooms and, above all, more updated knowledge to all students. "
K-EVO’s work in the Land Rover 4x4 in Schools competition was showcased during the visit as an example to follow.
Tiago Brandão Rodrigues, Minister of Education also participated in the visit and introduced the World Champions to the Prime Minister enabling K-EVO to show him their Word Finals Pit Display, Portfolio and car.
